Our Volunteers are the Philanthropists of Time

Mission of Deeds Must be the Most Fortunate Non-profit in Massachusetts!

From Donna Snow

We have over one hundred dedicated volunteers who show up at our facility every week. These incredible volunteers have often helped on a regular basis for years. Their dedication to serving our clients is evident. They willingly sort, organize, clean, pack, and fix donated items. They answer phones, enter data, move beds, drive our truck, and pick-up furniture. Our mission relies on their efforts and could not happen without them.

Our “small army” of volunteers are nurses, doctors, artists, students, teachers, stay-at-home parents, bankers, professors, and business professionals. Our clients truly benefit from the varied skills and backgrounds of every volunteer.

In addition to our regular volunteer crews, we have assistance from community organizations, schools, churches, sports groups, scouts, and businesses. Occasionally MOD has opportunities for groups to help with special projects. Please email donna.snow@/ or call us to learn about our current needs.

We applaud each individual volunteer for their willingness to help others in need. Their collective efforts – their hands working together – are the foundation for everything we do.
