MODs Changing Lives Blog

Blogging is new for us but the work that we do and the lives that we change continues to inspire us. We’ll be sharing some of those stories with you but, of course, the names of our clients will be changed to protect their Privacy.

You’ll learn about our upcoming events and on the fly fundraisers so you can Save the Date and hopefully we will see you there. We love seeing familiar faces, it’s more fun. It also gives us a chance to thank you in person for all that you do to support our programs and help us change the lives of those less fortunate for the better.

In the spirit of transparency, we will always share our annual impact numbers that shows how your donations are used once our auditors “release the paperwork”. It gives us a chance to show you how a donation in any amount can make a real difference for many others.

We’re also going to feature a handful of Partners each year who are long time supporters so you can learn more about what they do and how they create awareness about our cause. Who knows – maybe they will write a guest blog for us!

So bookmark this page and come back soon to learn more about all the MOD adventures and initiatives. Be well . . .

Our Volunteers are the Philanthropists of Time

We have over one hundred dedicated volunteers who show up at our facility every week. These incredible volunteers have often helped on a regular basis for years. Their dedication to serving our clients is evident. They willingly sort, organize, clean, pack, and fix donated items. They answer phones, enter data, move beds, drive our truck, and pick-up furniture. Our mission relies on their efforts and could not happen without them.

Date: September 14 to September 20, 2020

Location: Your choice of where and whether it will be a short or long walk
