2020/2021 Winter Coat Drive Annual Event

Coats for Families in Need: Kids and Adults

COATS – ABRIGOS – MANTEAUX

No matter what language you speak, if you don’t have a coat, you are cold!

Starts – November 1, 2020
Ends – March 1, 2021
Location – Mission of Deeds, 6 Chapin St, Reading, MA 01867

New Restrictions Due to COVID-19, our Coat Drive criteria has changed for 2020 through March 2021: we are only able to accept new coats, new hats, and new gloves.

Help Us Keep Our Neighbors Warm.

Every year from November 1 through March 1, we have a Winter Coat Drive and ask our community to drop off like new, clean, gently used winter coats, gloves, and hats so that we can distribute them to our clients.

All of those we help are often in economic situations that prevent them from providing their family members with these necessities. Our clients include those who were previously homeless, survivors of domestic abuse, displaced Veterans, refugees, the elderly, victims of fire or other tragedies, and those with disabilities.

This type of donation matters so much in the winter, especially when we experience some of the coldest temperatures. Your coat donation has the potential of saving lives by keeping people warm on drastically cold nights. Every donor should be proud of giving and making a difference by keeping our communities a little warmer and showing the less fortunate that we will always care.

Drop Off Coats at the Mission of Deeds office
Note: Due to COVID-19, the door will be locked but please ring the bell and someone will meet with you.
