Volunteers

MISSION POSSIBLE

Providing assistance to people in need is our one and only "mission" at the Mission of Deeds. This assistance is provided by a group of individuals whose volunteer spirit and commitment to helping others is a source of inspiration to everyone who meets them. Our volunteers range in age from 16 to 95 years and perform a wide range of functions that include picking up donated items for storage in our warehouse; cleaning, repairing, and organizing items; sorting for distribution to clients; assisting clients with their selection of items; and providing office / administrative support.

At the Mission of Deeds, our volunteers help clients who, in most cases, are families or individuals beginning a new life after living in shelters, losing their possessions as a result of personal tragedies, or being abandoned by family members. Unfortunately, we have seen a dramatic increase in requests for assistance in recent years and we expect that trend to continue as more families seek help from the Mission of Deeds. To meet this anticipated increase, we hope to expand our group of volunteers who have the skills, experience and enthusiasm to help us help others in need.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us about any of the following opportunities:
